My husband, Steve and I had many ups and downs in our adoption journey. We adopted our daughter, Samantha and when she was 2 years old, we were upset to hear from our adoption agency that we might have to wait 5 years for another baby.
We were anxious to have another little blessing in our lives and to give our daughter a little sibling. We learned about Elizabeth through a mutual friend and were excited to meet her. We completed our home study and were quickly matched with our birthmother. Elizabeth was so encouraging and helpful. She was always available when we had questions or were feeling anxious. She even drove with me to Orlando to be with our baby’s birth mom as she had an ultrasound. I love that she is so committed to the birthmothers she is working with and she always shows them care and compassion.
I was able to witness my daughter, Sophia’s birth and she is such a blessing! We are so grateful for all the work that Elizabeth did to help us build a relationship with our daughter’s birthmother that will last a lifetime and for helping us become a forever family. Elizabeth will always have a special place in our hearts because of the love she has for adoption, for her it isn’t just her job, it’s her passion.
